On the first day of Christmas my parents gave to me . . . a holiday book about my very own state! 

Emma’s going to Wisconsin for Christmas to see her cousin Jack, and both kids are really excited. And to celebrate, Jack gives Emma some VERY unusual, Wisconsin-style gifts. From one robin (the state bird) that sings “On Wisconsin” (the state song) to twelve birch bark baskets, the presents capture the spirit of the Badger State.
